With the recent storm surge and huge seas I decided to take the drone out for a flight in possibly the most challenging conditions I have flown in.  The wind was pretty strong and I needed to stay well clear of all of the sea spray but I think it was worth it.  The footage was used by the BBC and shown on their Look East Facebook page receiving over 1.5 million views.  I was interviewed by the BBC news at Cromer the next day and was live on BBC Radio Norfolk.  It was also broadcast on The One Show, local and national BBC news, national ITN News, BBC’s Inside Out and on Channel 5’s Winter Road Rescue.  Some pretty amazing publicity by all accounts!

I put together a video to music of some of the footage which begins with some iphone footage of the huge waves the night before followed by the aerial footage of the damage the following morning…
